Once upon a time, we used to think the idea of having steak for dinner was a chore! We now realize just how easy it is to make a delicious meal without spending hours preparing it. Here’s what we did the other day…….
In the morning- grab the following ingredients:
- olive oil;
- balsamic vinegar (you can be generous with these);
- worcestershire sauce;
- soy sauce (both are optional but add a little flavour- and you only need a splash or two);
- cumin seeds;
- rosemary;
- basil (fresh works best but it’s not necessary);
- salt;
- Pepper;
- (chilli flakes- if you like things on the spicy side), and
- garlic (any type works-fresh, ground even paste)
Next steps:
- mix all of the above into a bowl;
- grab a zip-lock bag- put the fillets in the bag, and lastly
- pour the marinade into the bag and put into the fridge
